Cattery in Melbourne: FAQS
The FAQs section below provides some answers to questions that you might have prior to boarding your cat/s at Cats ‘R’ Us.
• Can I come and have a look at the cattery before making a booking?
Of course! We love visitors, and it’s important that you make an informed decision. Come andcheck out the accommodation facilities and services that we have for your loved pet.
• Can I bring my own food?
Yes you can. If your cats are on a prescription diet, or you wish to keep their diet identical to that at home, then by all means you can bring your pets’ food. This obviously extends to their favourite treats as well!
• Does my cat/s need to be inoculated before boarding with you?
Annual vaccination must be fully up to date and if overdue, a follow-up booster may be necessary. Please ask us for more details, hospital facilities are available if required.
• Does my cat need to be registered with a vet?
Yes, it’s very important that your cat is registered with a local vet and that we have this information prior to your cats’ arrival. This is vital in the unlikely event that your cat gets taken ill.
• What if I have an aggressive cat or my cat has problems with strangers?
If your cat has problems with aggression, we would appreciate honesty. It does not mean that we will not board your cat but we would like to meet your pet and see if we get along. If your cat is aggressive towards strangers, we can possibly work together to help him/her feel comfortable in our presence, prior to boarding. In case, we are not made aware of your cats’ aggressive behaviours and he/she attacks us, we will have no choice but to find alternative accommodation at your expense.
